In the past few months, I have started to travel for work a lot more. It does not seem like it is going to slow down any time soon! Between now and labor day there is a potential for three more week long trips. I am actually flying home from Phoenix today, as I have been here all week for work. I really enjoy traveling for the most part. It is fun to get out of the office every once in a while, but I miss home!

The one thing I have noticed while traveling is that I really need a new work bag. I normally carry the Marc Jacobs Pretty Nylon Tate (seen recently here). I love the bag. It was a birthday present from Tyler, is easy to clean, and fits everything I need. The one downfall is that it does not zip to close. This normally doesn't bother me, but I am not a fan of it while traveling in an airport.

I have decided my next big purchase will be a new work bag! Above are my current top choices. I am having a really tough time because all the bags I like online have a button, or clasp, to close... and no zipper! I think the top runner is currently the Long Champ. However, if you have any suggestions on bags to check out please let me know! After days of purusing the web and still coming up short, I will take any and all advice : ).

Also, today is the last day to enter the giveaway to Little Nook Boutique!

  7. I've had my Longchamp for a few years now and I will say that when I purchase my next bag I want it to be more structured. If you're going to be carrying folders or files I think they're might be more ideal bags for it that hold their shape a little better. But that being said, if you've got your heart set on it you can definitely make it work. It is large enough for my lap top to fit in no problem and goes with everything!

  10. I do love the Longchamp bag. However, I recommend not getting navy. I think a work bag should ideally be in a tan/beige/luggage color. That way you can wear it with lighter and darker colors. It will match with any outfit. If you tend to wear mostly dark colors to work then black would be a safe bet.

  11. I have the Navy Le Pliage Large from Longchamp and LOVE IT. It fits everything you could possibly need and is easy to clean. The leather handles are really nice and the small pocket on the interior is perfect to hold a lipstick, your phone, and headphones.

  15. I'm currently using a Lilly Pulitzer tote for summer, but in the past I had a Michael Kors tote bag I got at the outlets, it had just enough pockets to hold all my work stuff!
