Meet Biana From B Loved Boston

Wednesday, April 15, 2015

Hi there!! I'm Biana and I blog over at B~Loved Boston! Over there you can find me chatting about everything from fashion to my favorite recipes!! I'm so excited that Darcy asked me to guest post for her while she's enjoying her fabulous honeymoon!! Even though I went on my honeymoon over two years ago, I thought it would be fun to share Five Honeymoon Do's with you all today!!
1. Do take off as much time as possible! I realize not everyone has the ability to take three weeks off to enjoy your wedding and honeymoon, but if you have the opportunity to save up all your vacation days, do just that! I was able to take 15 days off for not only my honeymoon, but the week leading up to my wedding since we were getting married in a different state! Best decision I ever made...obviously aside from marrying my husband!
2. Do completely disconnect! Do both yourself and your new husband a favor and totally unplug!! Sure posting a picture here and there on Instagram is fun, but try to leave your phones out of sight for the trip and enjoy some quality time together!
3. Do explore an area, city or country that's new to you both!! Starting this new journey together is so exciting and sharing a new experience together is even more so!
4. Do treat yourselves to something you wouldn't normally do! Whether it's a couples massage on the beach, whale watching dinner cruise or zip lining adventure - create an experience together that you'll be able to look back on as the first time you did something together as a married couple!
5. Do buy yourself something special to remember your honeymoon by! Granted you will always remember your honeymoon, but make it even more memorable by getting a piece of jewelry that's native to the destination that you're visiting or perhaps it's splurging on something that you will have for many years to come!
Since you know your honeymoon is an expense that is coming up, start saving early for it!! If you're a couple that is already living together perhaps forgoing the traditional registry and opting for a site like Honeymoon Wishes or HoneyFund allows guests to get you even closer to an even more epic honeymoon!!
So ladies, what are some of your Honeymoon Do's?

Thank you so much for posting for me, Biana! Be sure to head over to her blog for more!
I would love it if you would follow me on GFC or Bloglovin'!
