Is anyone else just so excited that the Olympics start tonight!? I swear I have been counting down the days to this since June haha! What event are you most excited for? For me, it definitely is women's gymnastics! I can't wait to watch Simone Biles tear it up. I also LOVE Laurie Hernandez. I'm hoping she snags a spot in the individual all around finals! Fun fact, when I was growing up my studio sent a group of us down to Bela Karolyi's ranch in Texas. We spent a week there training and I even got some one on one time with Bela himself! Such a cool experience. I have a picture of the two of us together, I wish I could find it and include it in this post haha.
In honor of the Olympics starting tonight with the opening ceremonies, I thought I would put together a red, white, and blue outfit. I recently received this navy boyfriend cardigan. I love that it has a touch of sparkle in it. (It also comes in gold, which is fitting for an Olympics inspired post :)) I am personally a huge fan of boyfriend cardigans. They give off a more relaxed vibe than a shorter cut cardigan does. Pairing it with red and white was only natural in this look. I added my favorite purse, which I have styled recently here. Online, this cardigan is paired with a striped top and I think it looks cute. I can also picture it with white jeans and chambray top as we transition more into cooler weather. For size reference, I am wearing a small in the cardigan. (P.S. This red, white, and blue outfit would be a cute outfit idea for Labor Day, as well!)
Hope you all have a great weekend!
