A Memory Of Us

A few weekends ago I had my Bachelorette Party! Today I am sharing some photos from the evening. Instead of doing the bride wears a white dress and everyone else wears black, we made the theme for the night "Darcy's Wild Night Out". Everyone had to wear something animal print and it turned out so fun! I was a little worried the pictures would look crazy but I think it all looks so fun together!

In the afternoon we took a pole dancing class. It was actually a really good time! Also, it is way harder than it looks. A few of my friends left with bruises and I definitely was sore the next day!

After the class, we went back to the hotel to play games and get ready. My sister planned some really fun games! One was called "Porn or Polish". You drew a name out of a bag and had to guess if it was the name of a porn or a nail polish. You would be surprised at how inappropriate the names of nail polishes are, ahah!

Next, we went out to dinner and out to dance at the bars for the night! Hayley also printed off a bunch of pictures of Tyler's head and put them on sticks and we brought him out with us. It was hilarious! People kept commenting on them all night. It was the perfect night spent with all my best girlfriends!

I am back today with another work appropriate look for Spring! To see my most recent other corporate look click here. I have had this skirt for over a year now and still cannot get enough of it! I recently found one that looks so similar and is right around $50!

I think a good work bag is something worth investing in. I use the Tory Burch York Buckle Tote. It easily fits everything I need in it for the day! I recently filmed a YouTube video sharing what is inside my work bag. You can watch it at the link above or below!

Happy Friday!! Time is moving a strange combination of either too fast or too slow for me right now -- probably because our wedding is in two weeks! This is my first weekend in a month without any wedding to-dos and I plan to spend some quality time with my Pinterest and Gossip Girl : ).

Today's look is what I wore to KC Fashion Week last Saturday! What I love about KCFW is that you really can wear anything. Some people get dressed up -- guys in tuxes and girls in beautiful dresses. Other people dress incredibly trendy -- fringe, floppy hats, joggers, etc. In the Fall, I went fancier but this time I just wanted to keep it casual. A denim vest, skater skirt, and my favorite open toed booties made the perfect look!

I did not take any pictures of the fashion show. However, my good friend Mary-Katherine of Gold-Hatted Lover did a recap earlier this week where you can see pictures of the runway show! Also, big thanks to MK for taking these pictures for me.

Two of my favorite patterns to mix will always be stripes and leopard print. Another favorite look mixing the two was done here. Add in a floppy hat and you've got the perfect casual look!

These shoes came from DSW and I love them! I wore them all night for my Bachelorette party and for a full day of work with no problem! I am slightly confused, though, because I bought them off the clearance rack and they are full price online. If you are looking for a cheaper option, I also love these or these. The second option is almost an exact match!

A white dress is a Spring and Summer must have for me! This specific one is actually the one I wore to my bachelorette party last weekend. It is from Francesca's and is only available in one size online, but check your local store to see if it is still in stock! I bought mine two weeks ago. (I also love this one and this one.)

A white dress can be hard to restyle. I feel like they always make such a statement! I love the pairing of a white dress with a military jacket. It gives the dress more of a casual vibe. These peep-toe booties are my go-to shoes right now. They are the perfect transition shoe into Spring!

Happy first day of Spring, everyone!! What better way to kick off a new season than with a wishlist!? I am currently trying to decide what to purchase for our honeymoon to the beach in just a few short weeks! I have given myself a budget so I am constantly browsing the web trying to really narrow down what I want to buy!

Right now the things at the top of my wishlist are a pair of jeweled sandals, a fun sun hat, and a bright skirt. These jeweled sandals are so cute and come in a lot of different colors and patterns, so if you don't want a brown pair check out the rest of the selection click here.

Of course as a future bride I have to add a new white dress to my wardrobe. What would be a better pairing than some pretty earrings from Kendra Scott? I have had my eyes on these Tory Burch Penny Wedge Sandals for over a year now. I can't decide if I want to splurge on them or not, yet, but they are so pretty!!

Other warm weather essentials? A straw beach bag, an eyelet top, and some mirrored sunnies! I have not been to an actual mall in forever and am planning on doing all my shopping next weekend. I will be doing a ridiculous amount of online browsing until then, haha. Have something else I should keep my eyes out for? Let me know in the comments below!

White denim and chambray is certainly nothing original, but there is a reason everyone wears it. The two just pair perfectly together! My favorite thing about the outfit is that it is so easy to add some personality to the outfit. I have added a scarf, but some killer shoes, statement jewels, or even a fun hat could make this look your own!

When the weather starts to get warmer, it can be hard to figure out what is appropriate to wear to work. When I first started working in an office as an intern I was so confused about if I was allowed to wear open toed shoes, if taking off a cardigan was okay when I was wearing a tanktop and hot, etc. I was not even sure if I could wear fun colored nail polish because so many magazines had told me only neutral nails were acceptable for work!

This look is one of my favorite combos -- a fitted dress with a blouse underneath. It will work all Spring and Summer long, and I can just swap out the blouse color. I didn't realize until I was writing that post that today is actually St. Patrick's Day.. soo this look is not only office appropriate but also office appropriate for St. Patrick's Day!
