I recently discovered Flourish Boutique via Pinterest and have been obsessed ever since. I love finding new boutiques online to shop from because I like to have clothes that everybody else does not have. It is no fun to go to a wedding or a party and see another girl in the same outfit! Flourish Boutique has some seriously cute clothes. I'm swooning over this sequin blazer and think it will be my next purchase!

I loved the Easter Island Vacation dress and added it to my shopping cart even though it's freezing here because I didn't want to risk it being sold out once it warmed up! I couldn't wait to wear it until the weather would allow so I made it work for the weather. Pairing a sweater over a dress is a great way to transition it! I can't wait until I can wear this dress with wedges or sandals for the summer. I think it will be perfect for a pool party, country concert, or summer date night!

As I mentioned on Monday, we spent the weekend in Nebraska City celebrating Linda's (Tyler's mom) birthday. The group was Tyler's parents, his brother, his brothers' girlfriend, and us. It was our second year doing it and was such a fun weekend! Nebraska city is in the middle of the six of us. We are spread out between four different cities, so it's not often we are all in one spot. It's nice to meet up for a relaxing weekend. Linda received a Michael Kors watch for her birthday! We are rose gold watch twins now : ).

The weekend was spent thrifting, hanging out in the hot tub, drinking Toasted Ted's (hot chocolate + banana liqueur YUM), and just catching up. Cameron and Jill are in their last few months of college so there are exciting changes happening soon! We are talking about switching up the location for the next birthday celebration. They talked about going to The Elms Hotel and Spa in Excelsior Springs next year. Beautiful hotel but it's rumored to be haunted! A girl on my team at work went and took ghost hunting equipment. Not sure if I can sign up for that, haha!

I recently discovered the online store Shop Lately and am completely obsessed. I found this dress and just knew I had to have it. I have major Spring fever and the neon pink will be so fun for Spring and Summer. It's cute with tights but I cannot wait to style it with wedges for the warmer weather. This will definitely be a Summer staple!

This past weekend Tyler and I went to Nebraska City to celebrate his mom's birthday. This is the second year we have done it, and it is a very fun new tradition! We spent this weekend with his parents, his brother, and his brother's girlfriend. The six of us are spread out over four cities so it's not very often that we are all in the same spot at one time. It's fun to be able to get together for a couple days to catch up! It's always sad driving different directions out of the city from everyone. Tyler said it best when we were driving out of town, "Not living in the same city as your family makes time with them that much more special."

I normally wait to talk about any products I use until my monthly favorites post, but I have recently discovered something I thought needed its' own post. I just started using the Moodstruck 3D Fiber Lashes for nights out on the town and am obsessed.

The 3D Fiber Lashes are a great alternative to fake eyelashes. I personally like using these more than fake eyelashes because there is no glue involved and less work on my part. It's a two part process; first you use the transplanting gel followed by the fibers. You put it on just like normal mascara. The result is a 300% increase to your natural lashes! The best part is that it comes off just with your normal night routine.

One tip I have learned since using the product is to only put the micro fibers on the top half of my lashes. If I put it all the way down to my eyelids I feel like they kind of get heavy, but other than that I have no complaints about the product. It works amazing and adds the perfect touch to my going out routine!

I'm not one to wear a lot of makeup or be very adventurous in my makeup. However, I love using these. I personally don't use them on a daily basis, but I love them for going out on the weekends! If you are looking for something to amp up your beauty routine, this is it!

I received this dress in the mail earlier this week from OASAP, and to be honest I wasn't so sure about it! I absolutely loved it online, but had doubts upon seeing it in person. It was one of those things that you have to try on because once I put it on I loved it! The fit is great and I love the leather detailing on the sleeves and pockets!

Also, in honor of The Voice starting again (!!!) I just have to include a link to the Buzzfeed article 29 reasons the voice won't be the same without CeeLo. Any other Voice fans out there?! Tyler and I don't have cable so I really don't watch any TV. Every show I like is on Mondays: The Bachelor, The Voice, and The BlackList... AKA I get nothing done on Mondays!

Not having to wear tights to work yesterday pretty much made me the happiest person alive. I try not to complain too much about the weather, but sometimes I just get so tired of the freezing cold! Last week I was bundled up in Hunters and earmuffs talking about how it hadn't been over freezing in almost a month. This week is a different story, and we all know it could start snowing tomorrow ha! I had a completely different outfit planned, but just had to throw something else together to take advantage of the "heat". Mother nature, keep doing what you're doing!

Yesterday we had a "heat wave" (50 degrees) so I immediately reached for my Spring colors! I purchased this J.Crew Factory sweater in the Fall, but knew it would get a lot of wear in the warmer months. I feel like mint almost acts as a neutral; it goes with every color! I plan on wearing it with my new pink gingham shirt soon, too.

This past weekend, Tyler and I were back on the road to Omaha. Very rarely are we in Kansas City consistently on the weekends. As I told you all on Friday, we had a very busy weekend complete with a birthday party and going away party. I love going back home, but every time we go the weekend is extremely jam packed. I loved having Sunday night to cuddle up in my faux fur throw and watch the Olympics!
