Happy Friday! This weekend, Tyler and I have a full weekend of parties. Tonight we have a birthday party for one of his friends from college. Saturday night, we have an engagement party for two of our friends who got engaged about two weeks ago! I am super excited to go out and celebrate so many fun things. The above outfit is what I am planning on wearing... weather permitting. Within the past week it has been 70 degrees, snowed, and rained. What's that quote? "The weather is like a box of chocolates... You never know what you're going to get?" ;). But really... it should say weather because who can keep up with it!? Have a good weekend!

90% of the outfits I post on this blog are things that I wear to work. I am lucky to work somewhere that has a jeans casual dress code. The only time we are expected to be business casual or business professional is when we are on client site. I have a bunch of work trips coming up in the next few months so I've been playing around in my wardrobe to see what I need to buy to work for those events. (After looking through my closet, I desperately need some new dress pants.) I am planning on packing the above outfit for a work trip. Pencil skirt + blazer + closed toed shoes = client site approved ;)

Hi everyone! Today I have an amazing company to tell you about called Kidogo Kidogo.
Kodogo Kidogo, a company started by two sisters, translates to "little by little" in Swahili. They created the company to help women in Tanzania have access to mobile technology. Their business is similar to Toms Shoes in that it is one-for-one. Your purchase puts something in the hands of a woman in Tanzania.
A mobile phone for a woman in Tanzania means a way to communicate with friends and family, a flashlight, a calculator, a radio, a way to make secure banking transactions, and more. You can read about women who have used the donations from Kidogo Kidogo to run a business, here. It truly is amazing how much empowerment comes to these women from a phone!
Kidogo Kidogo sells cases that help put technology into the hands of women across Tanzania. When you buy a case, Kidogo Kidogo provides a phone, or phone credits, to a woman who could not otherwise afford it. This company is working hard to create a positive change for women in Tanzania. The cases not only benefit the women, but also other non-profit partners. For example, a portion of the profits from the sea turtle case are distributed to Sea Sense. Sea Sense works to conserve and protect endangered marine species.
I am a big fan of companies who try to help people. In fact, the store I bought the dress I wore yesterday from donates 10% of their profits to charity. When I heard about Kidogo Kidogo, I just had to share it with all of you! A mobile phone is something a lot of people take for granted. These women can truly benefit from them. Purchasing from Kidogo Kidogo not only gives you a cute case, but also helps these women. What more could you want!? Their cases are so cute, too. I love little by little.
Kidogo Kidogo is giving away one of their phone cases to a reader of A Memory of Us! The winner will get to pick the phone case of their choice. They currently only have cases for an iPhone, but even if you don't have an iPhone you can still enter and give the case away as a gift!
Enter for your chance to win using the rafflecopter below! This company does such great work. Let's show them support :).

I scored this dress at my go-to store for cute dresses, Altar'd State, for $6. It was originally priced at $79.90 but was on crazy sale. It would have been a crime to walk out of the store without purchasing it! I still can't get enough of this necklace from Viva la Jewels. I wasn't lying when I told you I was obsessed! (See how else I styled it here and here.) I am currently lusting over their pink and navy necklace... I think it will be my next jewelry purchase.
On a random note, are there any other Gilmore Girls fans out there? I found this on Buzzfeed yesterday and loved it. It is "17 Moments When Paris Geller Was Totally Relateable." Check it out! :)

Good morning! I hope you had a good weekend. Mine was filled with lots of basketball. Friday we went to a new brewery to watch the games and Sunday we went out to dinner after church to watch the Creighton game. We don't have cable so I have watched more basketball in the past three days than the entire season. My favorite part of March Madness is the "One Shining Moment" montage at the end. I'm looking forward to seeing that in a few weeks!
Thanks for stopping by today! Hope you all have a great day :).

//Persunamll blouse c/o/ Express skirt/ Marc Jacobs watch similar/ Alex and Ani birthstone bracelet/ Kate Spade bracelet/ DSW wedges//
This lip print blouse was something I kept seeing all over Pinterest and was something I had been wanting to add to my closet for awhile. I kept struggling with finding one at a price point I thought was reasonable. After a couple weeks of searching, I finally found one at Persunmall! It is under $20 and is great quality. This may be a strange thing to notice but I also really liked fit of the sleeve around the wrist. Ever since I discovered Persunmall, I have to force myself to not keep adding things to my cart. Currently I am obsessing over this blue and white dress and this neutral jumpsuit.
Also, congratulations to entry #321 Lindsay R. for winning the Viva La Jewels giveaway! An email will be coming your way soon to get your shipping information. Thank you to everyone who entered! If you did not win, you can use code BONJOUR for 20% off :).
Have a good weekend!
