T-shirt dresses are one of my favorite options for a casual look. They feel like pajamas but look so much cuter! They can be dressed up through accessories or shoes. They can also easily work for a casual weekend look with slip on sneakers or sandals. I feel like for the most part t-shirt dresses are pretty figure flattering. However I am pretty sure I have found the most figure flattering t-shirt dress ever! The knot on the side is such a fun detail that cinches in the right place making your waist look tiny. This is especially true from the side! The slit is also an unexpected touch and I love it! Most t-shirt dresses are plain and while I love that, I appreciate all the fun touches to this one! Not sure what could make this dress better. (Okay, maybe pockets but that wouldn't work with this style haha.) I ordered it last week and honestly want it in another color. For a sizing note, I did go down one size, which the reviews recommended. If you want something a little looser I would stick with your regular size! Shop it here.

One of my favorite outfits during the warmer months is white denim with a green top. (See evidence here and here.) I love how the green stands out against this white! I recently picked up this top and think it will be great with dark denim for a completely different look. This top is currently on sale for less than $50. (At the time of writing this post it is also currently an additional 40% off making it only $30 so hopefully that is still the case when you are reading this post.) It comes in white and is also in a lavender color in store. I've found myself drawn to peplum tops recently, the silhouette is very flattering!
Also, on Friday I mentioned that Urban Outfitters has 20% off all dresses. It ends today, so if you've been eyeing one now is the time to buy!

Can I wear a romper to work? That is a question I have gone back and forth about for the past few months. I have recently decided that yes, you can wear a romper to the office. There are a couple things to keep in mind when choosing a romper for work, or deciding if one you have will be appropriate for the office. Hopefully this helps you if you have been on the fence!
1. Length: Admittedly, most of my rompers are on the shorter side. They are much more made for date nights, going out, etc. When choosing a romper to wear to work, I looked for one that was longer. (I know it might not look like it, but this white printed one I am wearing in these pictures is in fact a romper!) Most likely, the dresses you wear for work are a little longer than your "going out dresses" so keep that same mindset here. I do think it is harder to find rompers that are longer, however, so you may have to try on a couple before you find the right length.
2. Layers: A blazer pretty much adds an element of class to any look. Considering adding a blazer or cardigan over your romper to help dress it up a little bit.
3. Closed Toe Shoes: If I am trying to take a more casual dress into work, I will make sure I wear closed toe shoes or pumps instead of sandals. The romper would have a completely different vibe if I paired it with my favorite sandals!
Lastly, all dresses at Urban Outfitters are now 20% off! I was obsessed with Urban Outfitters in high school and recently that obsession has come back in full force haha. I picked up this one during the sale and can't wait to wear it for a casual weekend look. They have so many on trend dresses included in this sale (think lace up, off the shoulder, etc.). If you have a wedding coming up this year, I think this one would be a great option! Shop my favorites using the widget below.

Do you remember this flutter sleeve dress from this post back in March? In that post, I wore it to a baby shower. I pretty much knew when I ordered it that I would be packing it for London. I pictured it immediately with a denim jacket and sneakers... and that's exactly what I did here! (Clearly a dress + jacket + sneakers was my go-to outfit formula while in London haha.) This dress is sold out now, but I think this jumpsuit looks so similar! It has a similar striped pattern, coloring, neckline, and even tie on the side. I've also linked two similar dress options up above.
I have had this denim jacket for awhile, but they keep coming out with a new one each year. Admittedly, I would prefer one in a lighter wash, but I haven't wanted to spend the money since I have a perfectly fine darker wash one ha. Since pretty much the whole outfit is shades of blue, I added a pop of color with these pink earrings. They are my favorite earrings because they add a pop of color without weighing down my ears! (Which can be a problem with statement earrings.)
Hope you all have a great weekend! Make sure to come back on Monday for my first recap of our London trip! Want to see the rest of my travel posts? Head here.

I wore this casual spring outfit for a day of exploring in London! We started by watching the changing of the guards at Buckingham Palace and then went to tour the Harry Potter Sets at Warner Bros Studios! It was such a fun day. We were lucky to have some amazing weather while we were in London. It only rained one day while we were there, and for the most part it was sunny and warm each day (high 60s/low 70s), It was pretty windy though, so it was not long before my hair was thrown into a top knot haha.
Can you tell that I was obsessed with my military jacket while we were in London? I wore it so many times, I am very glad I packed it. In this look I paired it over a striped t-shirt dress (less than $40!). These gold slip on sneakers were another item I could not have lived without while on our trip. I wore them probably all but two days we were there! They were perfect for walking all over the city and were very comfortable. I highly recommend them! They are also perfect if you are looking for a dressier take on the sneaker trend that is so popular right now.
I hope you all are having a good week. My week is off to a great start because as of 1:02 PM on Monday I am officially Aunt Darcy :)!

I am back after a nice long trip to London with Tyler to celebrate our one year anniversary! (You can see some of our pictures on my Instagram.) We had the most amazing time and I cannot wait to recap our trip for all of you here later! If you have any specific questions about what we did or anything please leave it in the comments and I will address it in an upcoming post!
Today's look is one of my recent favorites! I brought the outfit to London to wear for a more casual date night. The combo of a romper and military jacket is perfect for spring weather. Sadly, I waited too long to post this so the romper is sold out. I think it is SO cute and I know I will get a ton of use out of it throughout the next few months. I hope they restock it! However, I browsed online and this one is the most similar one I can find. (If they do restock it, here is the link.) It is more dressed up here with my favorite block heeled sandals, but it can easily be dressed down with some sandals or sneakers. Also, if you like these sandals they've recently added 3 more colors! They are so comfy and I highly recommend them if you are looking for a block heeled sandal.
Hope you all have a great week!
