I don't know about where you live, but we had a heat wave here in KC this past weekend. I think it reached 84, even! Above is what I wore to run a bunch of errands on Saturday. Fall and temperature appropriate : ).

Now, let's talk about these wedge booties. I just got them last week and am seriously obsessed! I have worn them every day since I received them. I was a little worried when they first arrived because they weren't super comfy. However, after wearing them around the house for a night I was able to break them in. They are insanely comfortable now. I wore them Saturday from 10:30 AM until 11:30 PM with no problems! They are currently on sale for less than $50 so scoop them up while you still can!

You all may remember that a couple weeks back I was able to attend Kansas City Fashion Week! If you missed the posts, you can catch up here and here. During the events, I was introduced to a new store and I was instantly obsessed! The store is called bohme. I quickly realized that I was very late to the party, because as soon as I found out about them I seemed to see their pieces everywhere!

They have on trend pieces at very reasonable prices. I don't think anything on my wishlist from there costs over $50! I am seriously crushing on this chain detail cable knit sweater and watercolor shift dress. The crazy planner in me is also thinking about ordering this dress for the bridal showers I will be having next year! When I saw this plaid top I knew I could not pass it up. I have been wanting plaid everything lately, and the detailing on this one was so cute! (Psst. it also comes in red.) When paired with my new wedge booties I had the perfect Fall look!

Good morning! Today's outfit is similar to one I wore multiple times last year. I don't think you can go wrong with leather leggings, a comfy sweater, and a statement necklace! If you've been a reader for the past year, this is probably somewhat familiar to you. (If you are new, it will probably become familiar haha!)

This hairstyle is becoming my go-to every morning. It's funny, though, because we used to wear our hair like this all the time for dance team in high school. I did not know how to do it back then, so I always needed someone else to do it for me! Oh, the things you learn as you grow up ;).

Today's post is all about these flats from Talaria Flats. How many times have you been caught wearing heels but you want nothing more than to change into flats? How often at a wedding do you take off your heels to dance barefoot on the dance floor? Talaria Flats were created for situations like these! They fold up discreetly so you can easily fit them into a bag. When your feet just can't take it anymore, rather than go barefoot, reach for the flats! It really is a genius concept. I can proudly say I have never walked home barefoot or anything like that, but I am all too guilty of dancing barefoot at a wedding!

The name Talaria comes from Ancient Greek Mythology. Hermes had sandals that allowed him to travel safe and quickly. The same idea applies to these flats -- they help a woman continue her journey day or night!

The website just launched so you can shop these shoes now. I normally wear a 6.5 but these are a 7 and fit perfectly! I also think they will be useful for me because I travel so often. Sometimes you just need another pair of shoes, but don't want to take anymore room in your suitcase. These could not be more perfect for a situation like that!

I'm just going to apologize now because you are probably going to be seeing this vest every other week on this blog :). There is a reason it always sells out so quickly! I love how it looks paired with my new Tory boots. These boots were quite a splurge for me during the Nordstrom anniversary sale and I have honestly kind of been afraid of wearing them! This past weekend I finally "weather proofed" them, so now I am not so anxious every time I leave the house in them, haha.
