My Blogging Introduction!

Tuesday, August 20, 2013

After two years of reading blogs, I have finally decided to start my own blog! Technically, this is my second blog. I wrote a blog for the first 2 months of 2013 and then quit because I wasn't "feeling it". On that blog I kept almost every detail of my life private. I didn't include details about where I lived, where I went to college, or even the name of my boyfriend! Not only that, but I kept it a secret from almost everyone. I was afraid of what my IRL friends would think of it! Fast forward to August of 2013, and I find myself really missing this whole blogging thing. I'm very excited to have an online journal about my life. I think it will come in handy when I start reminiscing about my life years down the road :).

So, a little about me!

My name is Darcy and I am 22 years old. Above is a picture of me and my boyfriend, Tyler, at a wedding this past May! I am a recent college graduate and am embarking on my first year out in the "real world".  Tyler and I met at college and have been dating for almost 2.5 years.

The name of my blog comes from one of my favorite songs from one of my favorite singers, Keith Urban! The above picture is form my first concert I attended of his... I will be seeing him for my 5th time this November. The song is "Making Memories Of Us". I thought that this song title was a good basis for my blog. I want it to show case memories I am making now. Everything's better with a lil' Keith Urban ;).

That brings my first blog post to a close! Here's to many more exciting posts to come in the future :).
