Weekend Recap!

Monday, August 26, 2013

This past weekend was a busy one for us! We went home for the weekend to celebrate my sister's best friend getting married. Tyler and I haven't been home since the 4th of July, so it was a long overdue trip!

Friday, we got in town just in time to go to the annual Greek festival. We were able to see a couple of our friends and try some Greek drinks! (Greek beer for Tyler and Ouzorita's for me)

I spent Saturday with my mom; shopping, going out to eat, and lounging by the pool. It wouldn't be a complete trip home without stopping by Von Maur. I picked up TWO pairs of Hunter boot socks for $21! These are normally $40 a piece, and I was able to snag up two for less than the price of one. I am fall/winter ready now :).  I picked up these black ones and some multicolored ones.

Saturday evening was Heather and Brett's wedding. The wedding was outside and they had the cutest games for everyone to play during the cocktail hour. (I'm seriously disappointed that I didn't snap any pictures!) They had an over sized jenga game with their names on it and the wedding date, a lawn sized tic-tac-toe board, and a bag toss game that said "I do" on one and "me too" on the other!  If I find anyone else who has pictures of these I am going to add them below.

Hope everyone had a great weekend!

  1. It's awesome that you've started blogging again! I felt like I was reading blogs for years before I decided to start my own. I'm still new at it too, but it's a lot of fun :)

I'm jealous of the great deal you got on the Hunter Boot socks! That's a total steal.
