I have always been interested in fashion. I vividly remember taking shopping trips with my mom and sister growing up, browsing magazines for outfits, reading blogs before I knew what they were (in high school I used to visit a Get the Selena Gomez look website every day for ideas!), and eventually worked retail. 

Makeup, however, was not something I totally loved growing up. When I discovered the YouTube Community last Summer, I was instantly hooked. I love learning more about how to apply makeup. I still have a lot to learn, but lately I have been very into creating new makeup looks! Last week, I uploaded a new Get Ready With Me video using the Lorac Champagne Dreams Eyeshadow Palette.

    Darcy your video turned out great... I never learned how to apply eye make up correctly, so I I always struggle making them look natural or not overly made up with the eye color... xox

    Great video. I think this is one of the best parts about being a girl. You get to play with makeup! But it's always struggle too since not everyone is taught how to properly apply makeup to flatter and enhance their natural beauty. I've been wearing makeup over 1/2 my life and I still have times when I struggle to make it work. I'll have to check out some more youtube videos to help! I love this video, it was a great tutorial on how to do a classic look!

    I bet that this is great resource, there was no YouTube when I started wearing makeup. I looked at magazines. Though I do hope magazines stick around.

    Goodness, you are a natural in front of the camera! I really need to try doing a video sometime. This makeup looks great and I love how you applied your concealer with a brush, I always just use my finger tips.
