If you follow me on Instagram, then you saw a preview of this photo shoot back on Christmas Eve! When we were in Nebraska over Christmas, we woke up to a winter wonderland on December 24th. It was so special to have a white Christmas! I am not an overly huge fan of winter (I'll be ready for it to be over by February), but there is something so magical about the first snowfall.
This year we got over 7 inches for the first snow fall. You can really see in some pictures how much snow there is by looking at how little of my Hunter boots are showing! I love my Hunters for the winter because they keep your feet dry. I also love how tall they are. It means I can walk through snow without any getting in my boot! They are not the warmest, though. If you want to wear them in the snow, I'd highly recommend getting a pair of Hunter boot socks! Although I am not wearing any in this post (mainly because I didn't pack them for Omaha, oops!), I own two pairs and they are life savers for when it is really cold outside!
Hope you all are having a great start to your 2016! Thank you all for the birthday wishes on Mondays post, too : ).
I would love it if you would follow me on GFC or Bloglovin'!

The first few snow days are always the most fun - it's the end of winter that starts to gnaw at you lol! Love your winter coat! xo, Biana -BlovedBoston
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely stunning photos! I love the first snowfall and miss having snow each year since moving to Texas. I also am in love with my Hunter boots but never knew they made socks too! Off to find me a pair or two of those as well for the rainy days! :) Happy belated birthday and thanks for stopping by to say hello! I wish you and your family a wonderful and very happy 2016 as well! :) Hugs!
ReplyDeleteIt hasn't snowed here yet and I am so jealous of all the snow you are getting! That hat is great, too!

Cutest lil snow bird ever!!! I LOVE that hat, you look like you could just lay right down and make a snow angel!!!!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos! I'm not a huge fan of the cold in the winter either, but I'm hoping for at least one big snow like this, as it is so pretty!
ReplyDeleteSo much snow!!! That's crazy. Whenever I read your winter posts I try to remember that I'm not allowed to complain when Texas is 50 degrees right now.
ReplyDeleteI am still so jealous that you guys got a white Christmas, it looks so magical and gorgeous!!
ReplyDeleteAlso, can't go wrong with an all black look and a fun beanie, how cute is that pom pom?! I have a few Michael Kors coats and swear by them. They are so warm and the fit is always so fantastic, the belt is super flattering (which is so nice when I feel like I'm leaning more towards a marshmallow with 7 layers on!)

Such beautiful photos! Love the pictures. Your coat is so pretty too. I agree, as someone from Wisconsin, I would not recommend Hunter boots for snow. You would have frostbite on your toes fairly quickly. But in warmer climates, they will work quickly.
ReplyDeleteSo fun! I would love to see some snow......instead of the dry grass and bare trees

I have a pair of red Hunters and I want to get a black pair, too. I don't have any of their socks either, I really need to pick some up! That snow is so pretty, I can't believe we haven't gotten any in STL! I love your jacket, too.

I cannot get over the adorable beanie and classic black coat WOW. The snow photos are great. We got our first snow right before Thanksgiving - like 8 inches of it too, didn't have a White Christmas though. But as I am typing this the third snow is going down, about 3-4 inches already.
ReplyDeleteThe Post seems to be good i really gather lot of information from the post thanks for sharing this awesome post..duck hunts
