On Monday, I shared how to style striped dress pants for work. In that post, I kept the look a little more casual. I paired the pants with a chambray top and block heeled sandals. Would the look be appropriate for a more formal occasion? Probably not. That's why today I wanted to share how to style these pants for a day when you need to be just a tad more professional. It can be hard to look stylish, yet professional, at work sometimes. This is especially true if you have a very strict dress code! While I have a relaxed dress code at work, I still enjoy dressing up and looking put together for a day at the office.
In this look, the striped pants are a stand out piece. I could have easily chosen a pair of plain black dress pants (a wardrobe essential, nonetheless) but I wanted to showcase a little more of my personality in this look. Since the pants make such a statement, I kept the top simple with a white blouse. The necklace and bag give me a little more room to add personality to this look. Which look is your favorite between the two? I really like the casual look, as I think it's a little more unexpected. I am all about finding multiple ways to wear pieces in my wardrobe, and I feel like there are so many possibilities with these pants. A classic work shoe is a nude pump, and these ones are included in the #Nsale for only $70!
Also, if you guys have ever had your eyes on the J.Crew Factory Herringbone Vest, it's back in stock and on sale! This sells out every year so don't hesitate to buy it if you like. (Curious for how to style it? Check out 10 ways I've styled it here.)
Thank you to Banana Republic for sponsoring this post.

Wow, not even sure which top I like best. BOTH sooo chic. I think I really like this white top and the one I'd probably wear to work as they frown on denim and chambray which is so dumb, lol!! You look so gorgeous!!

One of the things I love about your style is that you show how different pieces can be paired with different accessories and how they can create a totally different look. I think that you really nailed making those pants the focus of this outfit!

Those striped pants are definitely the stand out piece. They work great in creative offices or offices with the business casual dress code. I can see those pants styled with a slouchy t-shirt and a vest. HAve a great rest of the week!
