This past weekend Tyler and I went to Nebraska City to celebrate his mom's birthday. This is the second year we have done it, and it is a very fun new tradition! We spent this weekend with his parents, his brother, and his brother's girlfriend. The six of us are spread out over four cities so it's not very often that we are all in the same spot at one time. It's fun to be able to get together for a couple days to catch up! It's always sad driving different directions out of the city from everyone. Tyler said it best when we were driving out of town, "Not living in the same city as your family makes time with them that much more special."
