//Las Vegas Boutique coat similar and on sale!/ Hunter Rain Boots / Express Stella Jean Leggings / Burberry earmuffs (old) love these / Gap scarf (old) similar//
New York Fashion Week, retail stores, and Pinterest are all telling us to move towards Spring fashion but Mother Nature is telling us differently! In fact, Kansas City hasn't been above freezing since sometime in late January! (I want to say since January 20th, but I'm not 100% positive.) When Tyler and I went shopping this past weekend, every store had Spring and Summer items out for sale. These are on my current wishlist but I just couldn't bring myself to try them on because I would have had to take off my puffy coat, Hunters, and boot socks.
While all the stores have their Spring and Summer items out for sale, now is the best time to stock up on Winter items for next year. I scored my Burberry earmuffs for less than $50 when I bought them a couple years back. Multiple department stores have then on sale right now, but they are all sold out online. I love these and would recommend calling your local stores to see what they have in stock. I really don't need a new jacket, but if I were in the market for one I would snag this Northface jacket for less than $150!
I definitely took advantage of the Winter sales in early January, so I don't need anything right now. I'm holding out for a warm(er) weekend so I can go shopping without feeling ridiculous trying on sandals! Spring fever is hitting me hard, but I'm trying hard to accept that I have at least another month left of freezing temperatures!
(Also, yes the title is a Christmas song..but I'm sorry it's negative degrees outside and gosh dang it, it's cold!!)
I would love it if you would follow me on GFC or BlogLovin'!

ReplyDeleteI'm really looking forward to Spring as well. Luckily we didn't have had snow here this Winter *touching wood*.

I love this Darcy. The coat, boots, and earmuffs are all very classic items that will never go out of style. I can't wait for the freeze to be over. My washer line has been frozen since January 6th...it hasn't gotten warm enough to unfreeze. I work too late to do it at the laundry matt so I have MOUNTAINS of laundry. Spring, please hurry!
