Hi everyone! I am back after a long weekend away in Chicago. It was extremely hard to get up and go to work on Tuesday after an extended weekend. It was even harder because I woke up to rain! It has been raining here in KC for the past few days and it does not look like it is about to stop any time soon. (We are supposed to go to the Royals game tonight, so hopefully it stops!!) Hunters were the obvious choice for dealing with the rain. It was gloomy out so I wanted to wear a brighter outfit. Polka dots and a bright cobalt were the perfect pairing with these Hunters! (P.S. it started raining when we were taking this pictures as obvious by the random drops of water on my shirt... props to Tyler for still taking them, haha!)
Also, yesterday I wrote a guest post for The Journey Creating Me. It serves as a great intro to my blog and style, so be sure to check it out!
I would love it if you would follow me on GFC or BlogLovin'!

Love those rain boots! I hope the weather gets better for the weekend. It feels more like fall outside than spring, and that just isn't right. It's almost May! Have a great time at the Royals game!
ReplyDeleteYou look utterly charming, love this colour scheme and the boots are adorable! Hope your week is going well :)
ReplyDeleteI know it is raining here too! Love the red wells and that cobalt blue color is great.

Love the bright colors to combat the dreary rain. And I agree with Carylee- I'm impressed you stuck it out for a photo shoot once the rain started falling! That's commitment. Can't wait to check out your guest post!
