I started using Clearstem* back in October 2023. It was pretty much love at first try. Here is a detailed review of their products when I started using them.
Almost 6 months later, I am still using Clearstem* and have incorporated even more of their products into my rotation. (Spoiler alert: I only have about 4 products in my drawer that aren't Clearstem and they are all special use products like a mask, Lightstim light, etc.)
Today I thought it would be nice to share my entire morning skincare routine with Clearstem*! This is a great skincare routine for anyone with acne, but is also looking for anti-aging products. Clearstem is an amazing product line -- I can't say enough good things about their products or their customer service! Before I get into my review, I wanted to share another link to the post where I did an in depth review of Clearstem. This includes a lot of my before and after pictures. I didn't want to repeat the same content so if you are curious about before/after pics head to that post! (One new before and after is included at the very end, though!)
Step One: Gentleclean Vitamin Infused Face Wash
- This face wash is a new product for me. I had actually bought it back on Black Friday to take advantage of a sale, but wanted to use up my other face wash before starting. This is such a great, gentle cleanser. This product is infused with vitamin C so it is great for reducing redness in skin.
- This product is also great at taking off makeup. I still use a makeup remover but I find that the combination of my makeup remover + this face wash completely removes all traces of makeup from my face!
- It comes in and out of stock (Currently out of stock) so if you're interested make sure you scoop it up while it is available! It has 338 reviews and of those reviews 322 of them are five stars!!
Step Two: Bounceback Serum or Cell Renew Serum
- I alternate these serums every other day. I originally started just using Cell Renew (it was one of the first products I purchased). I added Bounceback in a few months later and to ease into it I just used it every other day. That seemed to work really well for my skin so I've never changed it!
- Bounceback is nicknamed the "No Botox Serum". You know it's got to be good with a name like that! This helps reverse wrinkles and heal scars. I would say my skin is 95% clear with Clearstem (still get the occasional pimple but I am never surprised when they pop up since it is almost always tied to my diet). Unfortunately, I have a lot of acne scars to heal as my skin scars VERY easily. This product has made the biggest difference. I didn't see much of a change in my acne scar appearances until I started using this serum in my line-up. I am considering a round of microneedling in the fall to help get rid of any lingering scars that this doesn't remove, especially since I have some texture issues I'd like to take care of. However, for just coloring/redness of scars this stuff has been amazing.
- Cell Renew is one of the first products I started using. (Outside of their hormonal acne supplement, the first thing I bought was the Anti-Aging Skin Care bundle which included this serum). This is such a staple in my routine. Depending on the day I use it both in the morning and at night. This serum helps regulate oral production and hormonal acne.
Step Three: Bright Eyes Eye Gel
- After giving my serum time to set, I apply Clearstem's eye gel to both eyes. This is an antiaging eye-cream. It targets crow's feet, dark circles, and puffiness.

Step Four: Hydraglow Stem Cell Moisturizer
- Hydraglow is an every day moisturizer*. It's made with bakuchiol, which is a safe alternative to retinol. It is also made with stem cells, which helps diminish fine lines and improve skin texture.
- If you are looking for an acne safe moisturizer, check this one out! In using Clearstem's pore clogging ingredient's checker, I learned that the moisturizer I used day and night had pore clogging ingredients in it. No wonder I could never get my skin looking the way I wanted!
Step Five: YOUARESUNSHINE(TM) Sheer Broad Spectrum SPF 50+
- Clearstem's SPF is the most recent addition to my skincare routine as I was using up some other products before switching.
- This is a tinted SPF and gives a blurring effect to your skin. It is made with green tea and zinc oxide to both protect your skin and calm irritated skin.
- Works as a primer under makeup if needed.
Step Six: Acne Safe Lip Balm
- Last step in my morning skincare routine is always Clearstem's acne safe lip balm. Great for lip hydration. I had no flaky /dry lips while using this in the winter!
- Can also be used on cuticles! I haven't tried that yet but need to give it a go.

I alluded to this above but Clearstem* has the most amazing customer service. You can text a representative of their team any day of the week with skincare questions. Anytime I've reached out I've gotten a reply within minutes! For example, they recently changed the formula of their moisturizer. I had just finished one so when I opened my new container I could immediately tell it had a new scent. (Nothing bad, just something different from what I was used to.) I reached out asking about the change in scent and got a reply very quickly explaining the new formula and what all they changed. The transparency is really amazing!
If you use Clearstem*, I'd love to know your favorite product!
