Today's post is all about Mother's Day gift ideas! My last blog post with mother's day gift ideas was geared more towards older moms (check it out here if you haven't read it yet). Today is all for younger or new moms. I recently saw an Instagram Reel that said something like "if she's been a mom for over 5 years she doesn't want anything that says Mama on it" and it made me laugh. I think it is pretty normal for your first mother's day to get coffee cups/shirts/etc. that say Mama on them! However, you won't find any of those items in this post. These are all great Mother's Day gift ideas for a young mom. 1. Crochet Swimsuit Coverup* - This is what I am asking for for Mother's Day this year! (It's always so nice when people ask for ideas, but gosh it sure is hard to come up with ideas sometimes.. right?) I saw someone wearing this swimsuit coverup* and immediately loved it. I never ordered it because I figured it would make a great gift. It comes in over 20 colors and is right around $30. 

2. FP Movement Renegade Sling* - If your kids are getting older and you don't need a full diaper bag for a lot of your outings, this bag* is a must! I purchased it back in the Fall and love it so much. It can fit my wallet, chapstick, keys, phone, 1-2 diapers, and a few snacks. It is so nice for the days I don't need a big diaper bag. I love this bag because it is a wipe clean material. It comes in a lot of colors and would make a great gift! 5. Jumbo Yard Dice* - If you and your family spend a lot of time outdoors, consider a fun outdoor game. This jumbo yard dice* is beautiful and can be used for so many games, like Yahtzee just for one example!

6. Outdoor Serving Bowl* - Now that my kids are getting a little older, I am looking forward to starting to eat meals outside! (Not having to lug a high-chair back and forth will make it so much easier.) This serving bowl* would be a beautiful option for family dinners! 

7. Cooler bag* - Speaking of eating outside, how freaking adorable is this cooler bag!? Two separate zipped compartments give you room to store drinks and food. I linked similar ones in my gift guide for older moms but those just are for drinks. This would allow you to bring both lunch and drinks for your fam somewhere! 

8. Foldable Yoga Mat* - I think this yoga mat is so cool! It lays flat like a traditional yoga mat, but stacks instead of rolling. This way you can easily layer the mat for extra cushion, use it for a step stool, or a yoga block. I love the idea of it being multipurpose. Being able to have an incline would be a game changer! 9. Sunglasses* - An item currently on my want list is a new pair of sunglasses. I always love Ray-Bans and these* are so cute! The grey color is different than anything else I currently have. If you're looking for something cheaper, you might check out the this brand on Amazon*.. I don't have any, but they have lots of colors and over 2,000 reviews with a 4.6 rating!

10. Pressing Pause: 100 Quiet Moments for Moms to Meet with Jesus Devotional - I have previously shared about this book in my Favorite Books of 2023 blog post. I read/used this devotional last year and got so much out of it. Each entry is short, but relatable to motherhood. This devotional gives you a moment to press pause, spend time with God, and then get back to spending time with your children/family in a new mindset. I absolutely loved it and at only $12* it is a great pricepoint for a gift for any of the moms in your life.
