Is anyone else freaking out that Thanksgiving is just over a week away!? I seriously cannot believe we are practically in the heart of holiday season. With the holidays comes family gatherings which requires needing a cute outfit! Today I am sharing something that would be perfect for a Thanksgiving meal.
I think most people would agree that for holidays you want to be cute and comfy. If your days are anything like mine, you're at a family gathering for over 10 hours! I think a t-shirt, or loose fitting dress, is the perfect choice for an outfit. It looks dressy, but still is ridiculously comfy. (The loose fitting totally helps with all the turkey you will inevitably eat haha!) You may remember this dress from this post when we went to a winery back in August. I love the bold navy color, and think it easily transitions between summer and fall. My exact dress is sold out, but I really love this one.
To make this dress a little more weather appropriate I added this comfy sweater from Gray Monroe. I recently talked about this online boutique here. Gray Monroe seriously has the cutest stuff and they are always getting new pieces in. They currently have so many great sweaters and outerwear. (I'm crushing on this buffalo check poncho!) The sweater I am wearing here is currently sold out in a size small, but is still in stock in large and medium. I love the beige/gray color of it. I feel like it's the perfect neutral that will go with so many outfits! (If you need a small, I think this one is really similar.)
The look was easily completed with riding boots and some of my favorite accessories, specifically these new Kendra Scott earrings. It is no secret I am hooked on KS if you read this blog frequently haha! These are a part of the Mirror, Mirror collection and they are SO beautiful! They're a little pricey, but if you are looking for a good gift idea for yourself, or someone else, definitely check them out!
My exact riding boots here are from last year, but I've linked to some similar ones here and they are currently on sale! (If you follow me on twitter then you saw this announcement yesterday.) These riding boots almost never go on sale and they are currently over $100 off! It's a great time to invest in some. (The cheapest I have ever seen her boots is $295 so this really is a great sale.)
I would love it if you would follow me on GFC or Bloglovin'!
