ten winter date night ideas

With a new season comes new options for date night. When Tyler and I first started dating, we always made a date bucket list for each season. There are SO many great options for a date night during the winter, so I wanted to share some of our favorite date night activities for the next few months!

10 winter date ideas

As you may notice, many of these ideas involve being outside. While these are all fun activities, unfortunately the cold can cause you or your date to get sick... who wants that?! There are some products you can easily keep in your purse to avoid any date night problems!

advil tablet vial

The first, and most obvious thing is Advil. Nobody wants to be battling a headache while they are trying to have fun! I prefer to carry the Advil Tablet Vial as it takes up almost no room. Nothing's stronger, longer lasting or better on your touch aches and pains than Advil, and nothing works on more pains than Advil (among OTC pain relievers). It probably wouldn't hurt to have this in your bag if you are doing one of the more active date options like sledding or ice skating haha!

emergen-c

Next is Emergen-C. I honestly LOVE this stuff. Anytime I fly I take one of these before and after the trip to help keep me healthy! I personally would also take this if I'm outside in cold weather because really who has time to be sick!? More Healthy Days, More Healthy Nights. Yes, please! Keep this on hand if you are going for a sleigh ride or building a snowman.

nerium 24 hour

Lastly to keep you healthy, I would keep Nexium 24HR on hand. Almost nothing is more uncomfortable than heart burn. This is especially true if you are going out to dinner and then to a show, to tour Christmas lights, etc! Something like that could make your second activity extremely uncomfortable.  Nexium 24HR is the #1 prescribed acid blocker brand (Based on IMS health data: total Nexium®  prescriptions 2006 - 2014). May take 1 to 4 days for full effect. Use as directed.

three things to keep in your purse to avoid getting sick this holiday season

There you have my 10 winter date ideas and some purse essentials to keep you healthy and happy while on your date! I found all of these products easily at Walmart. Since none of these products are in their packaging, I wanted to include a picture of where to find them in store so you can easily find them when you are out shopping!

  9. As much as I don't miss the cold/snow I do miss the coziness that it brings and building a snowman! But I do love to drive around looking at Christmas lights. And yessss to Emergen-C, I always take it before traveling as well and throughout my trip. Definitely helps <3
