One trend that I am sure you have seen everywhere this year is the suede skirt. (This one is one of my favorites.) I never jumped on this trend myself, but recently saw this wool skirt and knew I had to have it. I like the similarities it had to the typical suede skirt with the color and unique material. I wore it with riding boots since we're still having decently warm weather, but I think it will look so cute with black tights and black booties as styled on the website!
Also, I am not sure if you heard but the Kansas City Royals won the World Series! Thank you to those of you who commented about it on Monday's post. It is seriously amazing how many people come to this blog and actually read what I say. It was awesome to see people knew how big of fans Tyler and I are. Yesterday, the city shut down for a World Series Parade. Every school in the city closed and over 800,000 people showed up. People even started abandoning their cars on the interstate and walking to watch the parade. Tyler and I were on our way down, but ended up turning around and watching the ceremony at home. I did not want to deal with the craziness haha! We live about 10-15 minutes from the location of the parade, and a neighbor said it took two hours to get home aftewards. Pretty much everybody said it was worth the drive time, and it was so exciting to see our whole city come together.
Happy Wednesday!
I would love it if you would follow me on GFC or Bloglovin'!

Beautiful outfit. I like the idea of a wool skirt. I recently purchased a faux suede skirt and the idea of a wool skirt is a bit more attractive. Thank you for this inspiration. :)

I love the skirt! I think it's also a bit more practical than suede and less likely to fall out of style. That's insane that basically the entire city shut down! Sounds like it was a good thing you didn't go all the way to see the parade since the traffic sounds crazy!

I have been tempted by this season's button up mini suede skirts but resisted because of the length. This skirt caught my eye for the same reason. I am wearing the same skirt on the blog today.
