Holiday Party Look

Happy Monday, blogging world. I'm finally back from my trip to Mexico (and getting used to the one degree temps)! I had such an amazing time and I can't wait to tell you all more about our trip. Special thanks to Ashley, MK, and Alissa for taking care of my blog while I was gone! Today, I am showing you my holiday party look.

I am participating in the holiday style link up party again today! Today's look is all about what to wear to a formal or semi-formal holiday party. Last year in December, I had a sorority formal and a good friend's wedding. This year I don't have any fancy place to go, but after creating this outfit I think I need to find somewhere to wear it! I love a LBD for the holidays because you can do so many things with it. You all know I love colored tights, so it was a no-brainer for me to wear colored tights with this look! Wearing tights and shoes in the same color really elongate my legs in this look. In Missouri, a nice winter coat is a necessity for a night like this. (I found this one at a Las Vegas boutique for $15 at the end of the season last year!)

    ok so a) we spend at least one week in Mexico every year, so I'm excited to hear about your trip and b) I'm in Missouri! Well, the St. Louis metro area.
