Hi there! My name is Alissa and blog over at The Adored Life where you will find my daily outfits and random musings and embarrassing stories. I live in the Kansas City area and attend college at the University of Kansas where I will graduate this spring.  My favorite things to blog about are: my embarrassing stores, bling, polka dots, shoes, my boyfriend and complaining about school. 

I wanted to give you several ideas of how to spruce up your outfits via necklaces. Necklaces are one of my favorite ways to elevate any outfit. One of my favorite ways to elevate an outfit is to layer necklaces. It's such a simple idea but I've found people to be intimidated when actually doing it. 



The key I have found to layering necklaces for this look is finding one simple one and then one statement necklace. I like the layer the simple one to almost be touching the statement necklace so that it looks like once piece. 

This is my go-to when I want to add a little bit of pop to a simple outfit. Often when I am getting ready in the morning I just grab two necklaces and go. Thanks for reading and thank you to Darcy for letting me guest post!
