(I just had to take a picture with Jesse before leaving on Sunday!)

The above outfit is what I wore on our drive from Omaha to KC on Sunday. I wasn't planning on wearing this, but apparently I didn't pack enough clothes so I had to make due with what I had available! When I packed to go home for Thanksgiving, I had to pack for 6 days in Omaha + 6 days in Mexco. This made it incredibly easy to forget something! Luckily I had some neutrals in my suitcase I could throw together for the snowy drive home.

A fur vest is one of the easiest ways to add a little something to an outfit. I just purchased this fur vest a couple weeks ago and have already gotten so much use out of it. Finding the perfect brown faux fur vest was no easy feat -- I literally went into every store at the mall before wandering into a boutique which only had one left on the mannequin. It was fate because it was my size!! Now that I have this one, I think I need a black one too :).

    This is SUCH a cute outfit! I desperately love boots, but I have such muscular calves. The only boots that fit me are my Sperrys and my UGGs haha

    I'm such a wimp against cold weather. It snowed in DC and I just hid under my bed and refused to go outside to take pictures for my blog. I'm seriously admiring you for not letting the weather deter you from looking so fabulous! I really need to invest in a faux fur vest - they seem to go with everything and really elevate an outfit :]
