Hello, everyone! I hope you had a great weekend. Ours was very busy. It started with an Ugly Christmas Sweater party at a friend's house on Friday. Saturday we cheered on the Northwest Missouri State Bearcats in the Division 2 football championship. They won and it was so fun to be a part of it! I am looking forward to the short work week ahead and Christmas!

If you are looking for a new book to read, I highly recommend Still Alice! It is a heartbreaking novel that really opens up your eyes to Alzheimer's.

One of my favorite Christmas gifts that I received last year was this jewelry roll from my sister! It makes traveling with jewelry so easy. I am never worried about anything breaking while traveling now. (A great gift idea would be to purchase one and fill it with some jewelry!)

I recently received these boots from BEARPAW and I know they are going to be the best winter boot! I have been looking for a good pair of snow boots and these ones are perfect. They come in multiple colors, too!

Made sugar cookies by myself for the first time and I am very pleased with how they turned out! Making sugar cookies is no joke haha. I seriously underestimated the amount of effort they would require! Also, these adorable holiday plates are currently on major sale.

    I'm going to read that book because my Grandma had it and I haven't read any books that accurately describe what it's like to have a relative lost with it!

    Your photos are too cute! I just recently heard of Still Alice. I definitely will put it on my reading list. I love that one of your favorite gifts is the jewelry roll that your sister gave you. It goes to a point I made recently that we do not have to think of the most extravagant or the "It" thing that everyone else is buying because someone said to when we give gifts. It is often the thing that we would never buy ourselves or don't even realize exists when we have a need for it that makes the most memorable and thoughtful gift. Merry Christmas!

    Oh! I can't wait to read this book! One of my New Years resolutions is to read at least one book a month. I get so lazy when it comes to reading, but I enjoy it so much so really want to try to keep up with it more! Will be adding this book to my list for sure!
